Karen's hand-on operational background lends her training a credibility and authenticity at even the highest levels of an organisation. Most of her business responsibilities have been front-line and customer facing : her functional experience includes global responsibility for Sales & Business Operations; Services Delivery; Project, Program & Bids Management. She also has experience working within HR in various EMEA L&D capacities, including Diversity; Executive Coaching; High Potential Development; Work/Life Balance; and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Within the training environment Karen quickly establishes rapport with her delegates, with an engaging delivery style that is typically informal, adaptable, fun (occasionally off-the-wall !), responsive and challenging. She loves to 'spin the box' to help her clients see that there is always another face to any given situation ... and therefore choice !
Karen walks the talk where continued professional development is concerned, investing both time and finances into high quality learning opportunities for herself every year. As a result, she is fortunate to have trained internationally with industry leaders in the fields of Business Coaching, Executive Communications and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and also of the Chartered Management Institute. Karen is qualified to use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) psychometric tool with clients and is a professionally qualified CIPD CTP trainer. Additionally, Karen employs her skills and experience as a Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming in all aspects of her work and across most situations in her life - whether working one-to-one with a coaching client, training multiple delegates/teams or facilitating cross-functional groups of staff. With her previous global experience, Karen is comfortable and adept working internationally and cross-culturally. |
